About the video “postlude”To find out about Maurice Journeau more, I visited Thomas Betz who is the pianist of the CD “Journeau” in Saarbrucken Germany. In studying Journeau’s music, I got feeling that Gillock and Journeau have the common sense in music and their life. And I talked about Gillock and also played “Waltz Etude” and “Postlude” besideof Journeau’s pieces and I could also hear about Thomas’s thought for music. It was the most precious time for me. When I found the similar thought and passion in this pianist, it reminded me of Gillock’s last words on the phone, ” Don’t cry Hiroko. Continue playing my pieces, then I can live in your heart. If Many people come to play my pieces, I can live in many people’s hearts forever”.
I asked Thomas to perform “Postlude Remembrance”.
He accepted my request and I also got permission to film it.  I felt I was wrapped in a soft and warm floss and floating in the air and I was sure that Gillock was with us in Saarbrucken. (Hiroko Yasuda)
